Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will hold primary responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance as well as the ongoing development of the currently deployed Salesforce.com (SFDC) instance. A record of success in process improvement and an ability to streamline processes in Salesforce is a must. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with leaders, and subject matter experts of all departments in the organization to identify and improve inefficiencies in the current deployment as well as scope, develop and deploy new business processes to respond to the needs of the organizational units.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator of the deployed SFDC instance
- Manage data feeds into and out of SFDC
- Evaluate and help to scope SFDC development requests from all segments of the organization
- Coordinate execution of approved development requests
- Assist and educate others in the creation and maintenance of SFDC reports and dashboards
- Assist in training of new users
- Constantly look for ways to improve and streamline SFDC processes
- Assist and educate others in the pruning of the SFDC database
- Handle all basic SFDC functions including user, report, dashboard, and workflow maintenance
- Handle basic administration of other required systems including user, group, distribution list, and general maintenance. Other systems include (but are not limited to) Google Suite, Office 365, Zoom, Slack, Docusign
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum three years of experience as a SFDC administrator
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADX 201 required, ADX 211 desired)
- Excellent project management skills and a demonstrated ability to make and meet realistic timelines
- Analytical and critical thinker with an ability to find and/or create solutions
- Excellent ability to communicate with internal and external resources from all levels of the organization
- Ability to accurately predict the effectiveness and impact of proposed solutions
- Strong data management skills
