Position Overview

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Building credibility by demonstrating expertise and following through on commitments
  • Salesforce configuration, installation, setup, and architecture
  • Participating in discovery meetings to identify and document client requirements in order to develop creative solutions using best practices and Salesforce products
  • Configuring Salesforce environments to meet clients’ requirements
  • Working with clients and partner institutions to define project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and identify requirements
  • Communicating with internal and client teams effectively to ensure expectations are set and all deliverables are met on schedule
  • Working closely with internal team members to deliver products and services with prospects and customers

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years total Salesforce experience
  • 1+ years experience with solution architecture
  • End-to end Salesforce.com implementation experience with the following focus:
    • Solution Architect experience on implementation projects using Agile Iterative approach
    • Understanding of key Salesforce.com architectural concepts and how they influence design
    • Force.com platform experience, including the limitations of the platform (e.g. API and governor limits)
  • Evaluation of Salesforce.com with 3rd party solutions
  • Ability to meaningfully articulate Salesforce terminology, processes, functionality, and architecture
  • Applied knowledge of SFDC and CRM processes including Sales, Services and Marketing functions
  • Salesforce Developer and/or Consultant-level certifications (architecture certifications a plus!)
  • Ability to create workflows, architectural diagrams, technical specifications (experience creating complex process flows using Lucid Chart/Vizio)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
