Position Overview

Description of Essential Duties:

  • Work with principals, stakeholders, end-users to elicit requirements for software that meets business needs
    • Design, develop, and test software solutions for new and existing functionality and integrations
    • Develop SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Apex components and Unit Tests
    • Develop Lightning Web Components
    • Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party applications
    • Ownership of both strategic and functional design solutions
    • Define architecture characteristics that must be met to achieve optimal solutions to given business problems
    • Develop architectural fitness functions to ensure solutions maintain defined architectural characteristics
    • Oversee the documentation of business opportunities, problems, feature requests and user stories, and translate them into technical solutions
    • Create architecture, technical and functional documentation
    • Guide technical team members on building, testing, deploying, and monitoring solutions
    • Stay current on new Salesforce features and practices
    • Provide Incremental feature updates based on prioritized requests on a continual basis.
    • Ensure record and field level compliance in line with HIPPPA:
      • Manage sharing settings to ensure HIPPA compliance.
    • If implementing communities, strong working knowledge of the External Sharing Model.
    • Develop, iterate on, and maintain reporting for external and internal metrics for, but not limited to these functional business areas: Sales, Health Population Management, Provider data, Clinical, data maintenance, and Customer Service.
      • Normalize data to adapt for time and varying sizes of populations.
      • Utilize and merge other data sources.
      • Trend data over time, such as snapshots.
      • Take unclean data and turn into clean data that can derive reports or other use cases with actionable, accurate insights.
    • Develop reports that trigger events where there is actionable issue with data quality.
    • Provide Salesforce best practices for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Health Cloud to ensure low technical debt, accurate data, streamlined workflows, user buy-in, efficiency, scalability and ultimately, value for each business unit.
    • Leverage best practices and working knowledge of Sales Cloud to:
      • Provide support /maintain campaigns, such as email, sales, and marketing.
      • Continually iterate towards campaign best practices and user buy-in on campaigns as the primary object to track and manage efforts.
      • Lead to opportunity life cycle management.
      • Strong knowledge of campaign best practices and use cases.
      • Working knowledge of campaign data relationship to other core objects such as leads, contacts and accounts.
      • Structure campaigns from existing salesforce data based on stakeholder requirements.
      • Provide support in opportunity management, including territories, products.
      • Leverage Sales Cloud functionality with foresight and ensure accurate data collection.
    • Provide guidance on best practices.
    • Leverage best practices and working knowledge of Service Cloud to:
      • Build and maintain a Knowledge base for a call center.
    • Develop case system that can scale, handle inbound requests routes, and provide an efficient way to handle inbound inquiries by agents.
    • Work in a complex industry within regulations of HIPPA compliance - ability to follow and stay within HIPPA compliance while providing feature updates and functionality.
    • Leverage best practices and working knowledge of Health Cloud to:
      • Capable and willingness to intuitively understand provider networks nuances and use cases. Ability to visualize, model, and illicit user requirements to ensure Provider networks meets business use cases.
      • Provide guidance on capabilities, best practices, potential use cases.
      • Leverage Health Cloud functionality to maintain and continually iterate upon a Population Health Management System and Provider Data Management.
      • Strong working knowledge of provider terminology, CMS database, and other provider data management related functions.
      • Strong working knowledge and understanding of payers and their networks or products.
    • Knowledge of HIPPA principles and how to ensure compliance, and when necessary to seek help if unsure.
    • Other responsibilities:
      • Managing stakeholders and their expectations.
      • Responsible for system data quality, procedures, and user buy-in of data hygiene and data quality best practices.
      • Requirements gathering with the business leaders and stakeholders.
      • Documenting requirements.
      • Providing guidance on the design, implementation, and workflow of a solution.
      • Providing insight on customization and third-party applications that should be incorporated in the solution.
      • Documenting the solution for approval by business leaders.
      • Solution end to end lifecycle prediction/visualization: Responsible for solutions scaling and handing unforeseen use-cases or problems.
      • User training.
      • Understand the outcome of a project, whilst not being directly hands on.
    • Follow the information security policy & management system, contributing to its effectiveness, and actively reporting on its performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
    • 4 years of Salesforce implementation experience in complex environments
    • Experience with Salesforce Administration functions
    • Experience with Salesforce integration into multiple external platforms
    • Experience with Salesforce user interface design and development
    • Extensive experience working in Sales Cloud, Health Cloud and Service Cloud
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills and experiencing communicating to all levels within an organization
    • Experience with Salesforce platform programming languages – Apex and Lightning Component framework
    •     Experience with complex flows, process builders, workflow rules
    •     Experience utilizing standard objects and custom objects
    •     Experience with a variety of stakeholders to understand business needs and translate into comprehensive goals and implementation plans
    •     Strong working understanding of Salesforce record and field visibility based on profiles, roles permission sets, sharing settings, record level security, field level security, object level security, group-based sharing, etc.
    •     Strong working knowledge of relational data models, data types, and relationships between data. ·        
    • Requires strong understanding reporting requirements and experience building robust reports and dashboards that used by Stakeholders and Operations

  • Salesforce Application Architect (required)
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
    • Salesforce Data Architecture and Management Designer (preferred)
