Position Overview

Responsibilities

  •  Commercial platform operations lead to oversee and monitor day-to-day operations of Salesforce deployment across 78 countries where Brenntag has commercial operations (14.4 billion EUR in revenue) to ensure stability, integrity and business continuity.
  • Ensure that incidents are resolved within Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Oversee problem management and drive identification of root causes as well as prevention of recurrences.
  • Strong collaboration skills for effective communication across multiple teams and stakeholders, both internal and external.
  •  Liaison with the application DevOps teams to triage and solve critical incidents.
  • IT Service management with proven people management experience
  • Strong collaboration skills for effective communication across multiple teams and stakeholders, both internal and external Operational support of Salesforce.com including support of daily operations, configuration changes, data integrity, reporting and troubleshooting
  • Develop, maintain and improve standard operating procedures for all Salesforce platform services to ensure stable, compliant and secure delivery to business
  • In-depth Knowledge of Salesforce technologies such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, B2B Commerce Cloud, Knowledge, Communities and Marketing Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce application administration; security, standard/custom objects, reports/dashboards, and release management and sandbox environments
  • Create and Monitor KPIs which are relevant for customer satisfaction, define escalation thresholds to DevOps team for resolution
  • Stable, compliant and secure IT systems/solutions delivering reliable service to business
  • Event and Problem management lead to resolve critical incidents/issues within Service level Agreement
  • Enhance team productivity using continuous improvements and transformation initiatives such as Automation, process re-design, etc.
  •  Experience in working as part of Agile teams and using agile and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of CICD implementations and tools like Bitbucket, AWS CodeBuild, Copado, Gearset
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Admin, Developer. Development and Deployment Architect preferred.

 

 Requirements

  •  Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
    •  Salesforce Admin 201 Certificate/Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certificate
  •  Experience: At least 6 years of applicable experience
    •  Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce
    •  Total 7+ years of experience in CRM /B2B/Experience Cloud technologies
    •  4+ years of demonstrated leadership experience building cross- organizational consensus with exposure to technology providers and/or business clients
    • 4+ years of demonstrated experience managing a high-performing, cohesive teams.
    • Minimum 3+ years in Agile and DevOps development
