Course Overview

Stony Point developed this class specifically for technology managers and executives who are brand new to Salesforce and the sales people who sell Salesforce to those people.

This class is delivered by a senior instructor with many years of real-world Salesforce consulting and sales experience. The instructor will cover all the basic Salesforce Clouds, Standard Objects, and core features, in addition to sharing real world experiences and best practices. 

The class presents a broad range of topics at the right level of detail for an executive, professional services salesperson, or technology leader who is not expected to configure Salesforce, but would benefit from a general overview of Salesforce and the related Clouds; including an introduction to the general user interface; and an understanding of the object model; the architecture; Model, View, and Controller; Apex, Visual Force; automation; and uses of the Platform. 

Who Should Attend?

People who need to understand the Salesforce terminology and ecosystem, such as those who manage Salesforce developers or administrators, executives involved in the strategy around implementing Salesforce, and sales people selling services or technologies related to Salesforce or Salesforce Clouds. Architects who will not be directly working with Salesforce would also benefit from this class.

Delivery Format Options

  • In-person for 2 days in a classroom setting
  • Virtual for 5 hours per day for 3 consecutive business days
  • Virtual for 16 hours, total, delivered in 2-5 hour blocks at times that are convenient for the students
