Challenges

This client had an established relationship with a national hotel chain to provide technical training.
The hotel chain was in the midst of moving from Salesforce Classic to Lightning and reached out to the client for help with training. 
The hotel chain initially identified 2 groups of people who had never used Salesforce and needed a foundational understanding of it before all users were trained on the new features available in Lightning.
 

Solutions

Stony Point's client does not have their own Salesforce trainers, and they had less than ideal results from other Salesforce trainers in the past, so they partnered with Stony Point.
Stony Point ran 2 in-person sessions of Introduction to Salesforce for Sales - Lightning (SPSA-101L) for the hotel chain's new users.
 

Results

Feedback was so positive after the trainings that the hotel chain asked Stony Point's trainer to participate in a special offsite Sales Training day and deliver Salesforce Mobile Training in person. This mobile training was unique and was designed and developed specifically for how the hotel chain would be using the Salesforce App.
Feedback continued to be positive, so the trainer was asked back a third time to deliver training to the Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs). This training was also developed specifically for RVPs and specifically to motivate and enable them in their management role.
The hotel chain, Stony Point's client, and Stony Point are now discussing a full adoption program for the hotel chain that will include custom Lightning training development and delivery as well as post-training knowledge checks and manager coaching to ensure retention and highest adoption.
